Dick was Global Director of Security and Crisis Management for Waste Management, a $ 12B international firm with 60,000 employees; Vice President of Pinkerton - Securitas, the World's largest security firm, where he was responsible for 18 offices in 11 states of the Northeast U.S. and 4,000 security officers; past President of the International Security Management Association (ISMA); and served as Vice President and Member of the Board of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC). 


He has been a member of ASIS International since 1974.  He has been board certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) since 1979.

As a security and workplace violence consultant and expert with Sem Security Management, Dick Sem has provided security and workplace violence advice and support to a wide range of businesses and organizations during litigations.
